For over 16 years, James and his wife Tessie have lived in Garden City and raised four wonderful children.

Even after four years on the City Council, one term as Council President, five years as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner, and an internship as a Deputy Prosecutor for Garden City, James has so much more to give to Garden City.

James’ experiences owning a small business and supporting entrepreneurs have prepared him to advocate for the small businesses that call Garden City home.

James is committed to sustainable land use, a variety of housing inventory, public-private partnerships for affordable housing, and keeping Garden City a safe and vibrant place to live, work, and play.

James looks forward to earning your vote again on November 7, 2023.
